Coming Soon. . . . . Stand-alone 650 hour SI program
Structural Integration is a myofascial method devised by Dr. Ida
P. Rolf. In our training, experienced massage therapists and
physical therapists will learn how to observe and analyze their
clients’ structure, then strategize a ten-session myofascial
intervention to bring clients into better alignment and balance.
The ten session series uses myofascial techniques to effectively
improve postural alignment, increase range of motion and
flexibility, and allow the body to respond more appropriately to
stresses, both physical and psychological. The purpose of SI is
to bring order to structure, and it is through the accomplishment
of that goal that the function of the whole person is enhanced.
This 300-hour curriculum is dedicated to the teachings of Dr. Ida
P. Rolf. Classes meet once per week (or twice per month for
the 14 month program) for a full 8 hour day packed with
lectures, demonstrations, and closely supervised hands-on
sessions. Class members will further their studies in anatomy,
physiology and kinesiology as it applies to the field of Structural
Integration. An integral part of the program is clinical
application. Each student will have the opportunity to bring
several clients through the ten session series, within a supervised,
supportive environment. The training program is seven or
fourteen months in length.

“Some individuals may perceive their losing fight with gravity as a sharp pain in their back, others as the unflattering contour of their body, others as a constant fatigue, yet others as an unrelentingly threatening environment. Those over 40 may call it old age. And yet all these signals may be pointing to a single problem, so prominent in their own structure, as well as others, that it has been ignored: they are off balance. They are at war with gravity.” – Ida P. Rolf, Ph.D.
