| Philosophy and Educational Objective The School of Integrative Therapies LLC was created with the goal of providing high quality vocational education in the field of therapeutic massage and bodywork. By promoting high standards of practice and continuing education, we hope to help this complementary therapy become widely accepted in the medical community. Our students receive excellent preparation for a career helping people overcome physical limitations. Our faculty is truly dedicated to conveying knowledge to our students in a way that helps them to become compassionate, effective therapists. |

| At The School of Integrative Therapies, we are setting a new standard for massage programs in this area. Led by skilled professionals, our students receive twice as many hands-on hours under skilled direction than most standard programs. Our programs are designed for the conscientious student with good study skills and an appetite for healthy challenges. Our small class sizes allow the student to take full advantage of the expertise offered by the instructors. By truly understanding the science and philosophy of the body, the laws governing physical structure, and the psychology of the mind-body connection, you will have a superior educational experience that will set you apart from graduates of other programs. Our nurturing, supportive environment is one key to our success with our students. Our low teacher to student ratios ensure that each student receives personal instruction. The lead instructor of our Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork Certification Program, Ginny Tingley, combines the best of Swedish, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, medical and sports massage. This integrative method enables the graduate to seek employment opportunities in a variety of medical and wellness settings, or to continue on the learning path with advanced programs. Our graduates are able to implement treatment sessions with specific therapeutic intent and to provide comfort care and relaxation. Chuck Carpenter, the leader of our Structural Integration Certification Program, brings training and experience at the most advanced levels in the bodywork field. As a Certified Advanced Rolfer®, he shares knowledge and techniques developed by Dr. Ida P. Rolf as well as the wisdom of his own experience and that of his mentors, so that practicing massage therapists can increase their effectiveness and advance their careers. |
